For World Ocean Day 2024, the FatFace Foundation proudly pledged to donate £1,000,000 to ocean health by 2030, aligning with the UN Ocean Decade (2021-2030) with the aim to support the global mission to protect 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030.
This is more than a headline goal. It’s a reflection of our purpose:
Supporting Communities and the Planet Wherever FatFace Goes.

A Long-Term Vision for People and Planet
This commitment isn’t about short-term wins. We’re investing in legacy programmes; long-lasting projects designed to enrich both our communities and the planet for years to come. Whether it’s supporting coastal communities, funding marine science, or engaging the next generation, we believe real impact means leaving something better behind.
Our Approach: Restoration, Innovation & Education
To help protect and regenerate the ocean, we’re focusing on three key pillars:

Collaborating for a Healthier Ocean
We are partnering with expert-led charities and grassroots organisations making waves in ocean conservation. Through these partnerships – and with the support of our amazing trustees, crew, volunteers and customers – our goal is to create a ripple effect of positive change. What We’ve Achieved and What’s Ahead
We’ve already funded a number of impactful marine projects, from local beach clean-ups with the Final Straw Foundation, to national educational workshops that connect young people to the sea with Ocean Generation.
But we’re just getting started. With five years ahead, and a passionate community behind us, we’re on course to reach our £1,000,000 goal and beyond.

A Shared Mission for a Bluer Tomorrow
Ocean health matters to all of us. It’s vital to the climate, to wildlife, and to future generations. That’s why the FatFace Foundation is proud to be part of a global movement for change and committed to doing good wherever we go.
