The FatFace Foundation are very proud to support the incredible Tuppenny Barn, Southbourne, with a donation of £10,000
Tuppenny Barn is a charity on a mission to help their local community in the West Sussex and Hampshire area in which they call home. Their goal is simple; to educate and support sustainable living throughout their community by providing “inspiring educational experiences for children, Social and Therapeutic Horticulture to improve mental health, and community projects particularly aimed at our most vulnerable and disadvantaged”.
Due to the incredible success of Tuppenny Barn, Maggie Haynes – CEO and Founder, has come up with wonderful plan to drive everything they do forward and to increase their charitable work in the community.
The Transforming Tuppenny appeal involves building a low impact, zero carbon community ‘hub’ to sit alongside the education centre – a 100m2 centre housing a permanent organic produce shop, community cafe and versatile learning space with external hire facilities. This project will protect the future of Tuppenny Barn and will secure their good work for years to come with a solid financial resilience with less reliance on external funding.
